SEEKING PAID CAMPUS ORGANIZERS for TUITION RELIEF!
Tuition Relief Now, a new student/community coalition, is tackling the cost of college. We need college campus organizers! We’re looking for the best and brightest student organizers in the UC, CSU and CCC statewide.
About the Job
You will build and coordinate a large team of student volunteers on your campus to gather signatures for a ballot initiative that will freeze tuition in the UC and CSU systems. This part-time position runs 4 months, from mid-December 2007 – mid-April 2008 and pays a stipend. All organizers will attend an exciting one-day workshop where they will meet other organizers from across the state, and all organizers will participate in a weekly statewide organizing conference call. A bonus will be paid for those who work through the winter break.
